Ruby Black Tea is made with Taiwanese native species Ruby No.18.


Over 50 years of research and experiment from the Taiwan Tea Research and Extension (TRES) to finally crossbreed this new cultivar between the wild Taiwan variety and Burma Large Leaf cultivar.


The name “Ruby” came from its ruby stone-like tea soup color. Moreover, due to the natural minty sweetness and light cinnamomic flavor, it is praised by black tea experts for its “Taiwan fragrance”. A unique flavor which could only be found in Taiwan.
